SAPOA Property Journalism Awards 2013

Congratulations to Real Estate Investor Magazine (REIM), who walked away as winner of the best Property Printed Publication of the Year at the 2013 SAPOA Property Journalism Awards.

Launch Event

The official launch of The Property Foundation was held on the 25th of November 2010 at the beautiful Monterey estate in Bishopscourt . As the sound of the Baphumelele choir resounded through the reception hall many property and financial professionals gathered together to lend their support to the work of the Foundation.

Gary Fisher founding member and managing director, shared the vision of the foundation and introduced Rosie Mashale from Baphumelele one of its current projects. She told of the struggles and successes of the past 20 years and of her dream for a halfway house for vulnerable orphans who are forced to leave the security of the orphanage once they turn 18.

The 8th Annual IPD/SAPOA Property Investment Conference

The annual IPD/SAPOA conference took place at the Westin Grand Hotel in Cape Town at the end of July 2010. Planned around the theme <em>Changing Dynamics</em>, the conference allowed delegates to tap into some of the best and brightest property brains in SA and their strategies for investment moving forward.

Stan Garrun, IPD SA managing director, invited The Property Foundation to exhibit at the event that saw many delegates interested in the social impact the foundation is making. The property industry has been invited to become more socially responsible and to join hands to create an enduring and visible legacy of participation by the property sector in the growth and development of South African society.

Membership Event

On the 25th of April 2012 The Property Foundation launched its membership drive with an event held at Monterey in Bishopscourt. TPF shared valuable information on the active projects during the evening.

Annenberg Property Celebration

Not even the downpour that resulted in major traffic delays on the day could dampen the jovial spirit as Annenberg Property Group celebrated 40 years in the property market with friend and fellow property professionals at Steenberg Golf Estate.

As part of the celebration Managing Director Dudley Annenberg presented The Property Foundation with a cheque for R40 000.00.
